March Against Monsanto Rally – Los Angeles

On Saturday, May 23, 2015 hundreds of Angelenos gathered to stage a rally and march to protest genetically modified foods (GMOs) and inform the public as to how they can harm their health and wellness.   Steve and Kevin visited the rally in order to listen, learn and share what they saw and heard with you.

They actually learned a lot.  As you will see in the video, the people attending the rally were not just spirited in their protests, but also very well informed about GMOs.  For instance, they learned from Nance Broderzen about toxins such as glyphosates and how they behave in the natural environment.

Lauren SteinerThey also got an earful for the very knowledgeable and articulate Lauren Steiner on not just GMOs but how the Transpacific Partnership (TPP) conspires to  strengthen the grasp companies like Monsanto have over our food chain.

Interestingly, despite the large crowd, not a single local, regional or national news service showed up to cover the event.  Perhaps they were hard at work gearing up for the Memorial Day coverage they would be conducting later in the weekend.  As Ghandi aptly stated, “first they laugh at you, then they ignore you, then they attack you, then you win. . . .”
