ABOUT THE CENTER FOR POPULIST POLITICS
As a government of the people, we depend on our fellow citizens for protection from harm and believe the interests of the majority must take precedence over the wealthy elite.
We must also put aside divisive labels like Democrat vs. Republican and choose a course of action as conditions change. If we choose common sense, tradition, and moderation, we will make a difference in our local communities, however big or small.
The Center for Populist Urban Politics stands for working together to build more livable communities. We want to open up the political process for people by informing on policy decisions being made in urban areas. 80.7% of Americans live in urban areas. Given this, there will always be more issues that unite us and drive us forward rather than divide us. Essentially we want:
- Productive and useful city planning measures to create infrastructure that supports the demands of communities,
- Implementation of policies that emphasize a stable local economy that can maintain itself and thrive,
- Cities that work for their citizens. Taxpayer dollars that go towards projects and initiatives that the people want and need, including protecting and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
By putting aside divisive labels such as Democrat vs. Republican and asking what is the most prudent course of action based on common sense, tradition, and moderation, we will make a difference in our local communities, big or small.
As a government of the people, we want a country where the interests of the citizens come before corporate interests. To this end, we create a variety of content such as blog posts, articles, videos, and podcasts to inform electorates about the issues that affect them, be they national or local.
On a regular basis, CFPP will be bringing its audience informative blogs, video blogs, and podcasts on a broad range of topics that will include politics, health, the environment, finance, foreign affairs and philosophy. We look forward to sharing the topics and issues we are passionate about and getting your feedback.
We want you to be a part of something greater. Join us and let’s all get there together.

- Displacing American Workers a Norm for Polite SocietyIn an article titled, Decline in Immigration Threatens Growth of Regions on the Rise, New York Times columnist Miriam Jordan states that “Immigrants helped make places like Northwest Arkansas economic dynamos. - Rigid Time versus Flowing TimeI often complain about my children’s apparent disregard for time. For them, time seems to be irrelevant in their daily lives. Have an appointment? It’s OK to be late. Need to be at work at 8:00 AM? 8:05 is OK. Granddaughter’s bedtime? What’s that? For me as a member of the ...

- Joe’s Right, and Oh So Very WrongPresident Joseph Robinette Biden is talking about hardening the infrastructure. I won’t focus on how odd it is that when Democrats are pushing an anti-gun bill there are mass shootings and now while pushing a boondoggle infrastructure bill there is a well-timed cyberattack on oil pipelines. The timing is suspicious, but one wouldn’t want to ...
