Pandemic Preparedness – An Interview with Physician and Virologist Dr. Steven Hatfill

On Sunday morning, February 10, 2019 Kevin Lynn sat down with Dr. Steven Hatfill, a physician, virologist, biological weapons expert, and adjunct professor at George Washington University to discuss a typhus outbreak in Los Angeles, CA. Our 60 minute talk ranged far and wide on the topic of past, current, and potential epidemics/pandemics. Dr. Hatfill didn’t pull any punches when it came to informing us on our state of preparedness. We spent a good bit of time talking about how local, county, state and federal agencies are supposed to interact with each other why the often times do not. The audience will come away with a very good sense of the complexity of trying to stay a step ahead of the next pandemic
