Interview with Josef Bray-Ali – Bike Lane Controversy

We recently sat down with Josef Bray Ali, Owner of the Flying Pigeon Bike shop and bike lane activist to learn more about the controversy over a proposed bike lane on Figueroa Street in Northeast Los Angeles (NELA).  We learned in the interview how a plan for an extensive bike lane that had been green lighted by the the City got derailed.  But that is not all.  We were exposed to a philosophy on urban growth that could very well become the nucleus for how commuting and living arrangements are conceived and drawn up going forward.
