CFPUP’s Candidate Recommendations for the Mid-Term Elections

Over the past two days we have brought you our thoughts and how we intend to vote on propositions 1 & 2 and then on propositions 45, 46, 47, and 48. In this video we provide our thoughts on the gubernatorial campaign and end with the Los Angeles County Supervisor race. In between we provide our picks for Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Controller, Treasurer, Attorney General, Insurance Commissioner, The Judiciary, Board of Equalization (District 3), Superintendent LA Unified, LA County Assessor, LA County Sheriff, and Measure P.

We sincerely hope you have enjoyed our informed (albeit with a few irreverent comments thrown in) conversation on the propositions, measures and candidates we will be voting on, on November 4th. If you have any questions or simply want to offer up a critique, please do so.

Kevin Lynn is the Executive Director of the Institute for Sound Public Policy and Founder of U.S. Tech Workers. 🧵Thanks for posting. Wish there were something more current, but it speaks to the fact there was no shortage then and there isn't now. The H-1B visa was predicated on the myth that there would be a skilled labor shortage in the USA.
