Will Black Voters Elect Trump? A Conversation With Yvette Carnell and Raynard Jackson

Had the great pleasure to sit with Yvette Carnell, Co-Founder of the American Descendants of Slaves (ADOS) movement and Raynard Jackson, a seasoned political analyst and Founder of Black Americans for a Better Future.  We discussed the under reported rebellion against the America’s black (elected & anointed by the media) who for decades have failed to deliver for the very people whose interests they claim to represent.

Among other things we discussed:

  • The rise of President Trump’s popularity with black voters.
  • Lineage versus skin color and Affirmative Action.
  • Failures of organizations such as the Black Congressional Caucus.
  • The case for Reparations for ADOS.

This lively and fast paced conversation is a clarion call to both political parties. For the Democratic Party, it’s time for black leaders to change course and work in the specific interests of black voters and to stop diluting their civil rights movements with the interests of a myriad of other groups. For Republicans and MAGA in particular, it’s time to rehabilitate the brand and include “credible” black leaders.
