Please Keep Us on Your List for End-of-Year Giving
As 2023 winds down, the Institute for Sound Public Policy thanks you for following and contributing to our work. We invite you to support our 2023 end-of-year fundraising campaign and with us ring in the new year with a bang for your buck.
If you are like us you are worried about what 2024 holds for you and for all of America and how this affects your family and future. With your support we will continue to fix issues and work for the future you envisioned. You are the force multiplier in the battle to combat the negative impacts and consequences of the bad policies and globalization schemes that are popping up everywhere. You can make the difference by keeping us on your list for end-of-year giving. Our small staff of four people (two full-time and two part-time) couldn’t have accomplished so many goals without the contributions of time and money from you and all of our contributors and activists.
Here are just some of the things we have achieved thanks to your support:
• We accumulated 20,000 followers with 14.1 million impressions in the past year on X (formerly Twitter).
• I was invited to the White House to advocate that President Trump save hundreds of jobs in the Tennessee Valley Authority. These IT jobs are responsible for the power grid servicing ten million people in seven states and were saved thanks to you.
• With foreign trained physicians being brought into the U.S.A at a time when our citizens who graduated in good standing from medical colleges are being denied residencies, I testified before the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship about this injustice. Without a medical residency thousands of American doctors are unemployable and remain deeply in debt from their educations.
• Thanks to all our efforts and your help House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) released a statement announcing H.R. 3684 the Equal Access to Green Cards for Legal Employment of 2022 (EAGLE Act of 2022) was essentially dead in the water.
• We filed a country-of-origin discrimination charge with the Department of Justice against 45 companies that conspired to place H-1B visa workers in technology jobs, displacing American workers.
• We took part in Operation Burning Edge to bring attention to the public and policy makers regarding the open southern border.
• Over the years we have created hard hitting informative videos, such as here and here, to bring attention to key areas of concern.
• We’ve published thousands of opinion pieces and commentaries that have been distributed across many mainstream media outlets including Newsweek.
• We retooled operations and changed our name to the Institute for Sound Public Policy, making 2023 an incredibly special year for us. We can now better reflect our brand and communicate what we do.
Our name change was only part of the battle needing to be fought. We’ve also increased our focus on the movement of goods and capital.
Litigation, investigations, research, and getting the word out is expensive. Please dig deep during this season of giving. By doing so, our side will be able to do more to aid struggling American workers by bringing discrimination cases and by preventing cases where an agency conspires to “sue and settle” with plaintiffs under terms the agency has no authority to follow.
Because of you, we are an organization built to win and that’s only just getting started. With your continued support, our organization will raise the bar even higher in 2024 and improve things for all of us in this country.
Thanks to you, the deeper you dig, together the more real change we will make in 2024.
