Dear {name}:
The long-awaited Department of Labor proposal to raise prevailing wages for H-1B workers is finally here. The rule is being pitched as a shift toward higher-paid, more experienced hires and a move away from the program’s reliance on lower-wage, entry-level foreign labor.
We break all of this down in our latest Substack, including what the rule does, where it falls short, and what to raise during the public comment period.
Two weeks ago I wrote about the upcoming 2026 residency match and late last week we got the results. And the results proved to be a little bit worse than the year before for American doctors looking to get that all important residency. I will be writing about it in more detail next week. In the interim, you can go to the NRMP website and see the results on page 20 for yourself.
Onward,
