Strap in as we are in for a wild ride and not just between now and November 5th but, in all likelihood, for the next several years.

Dear {name}:

Vladimir Lenin once said, “there are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen.” The past four weeks echo those sentiments.

On July 9th, I joined Tom HomanMark Krikorian and Theo Wold on a panel to discuss immigration policy and was enroute to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention when I learned of the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.  Thereafter, events unfolded in rapid succession.

Trump announced Ohio Senator, author and venture capitalist, J.D. Vance as his running mate. And President Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, setting off a corporate and alternative media feeding frenzy.

While it’s easy to get caught up in something resembling a Hegelian loop, I recommend you take a step back and observe the transformation that’s been taking place over the past several years and outside the gaze of the mainstream media’s reporting.

Today, the Republican Party, spurred on by the America First movement, has become the party of working men and women and a new breed of Republicans has emerged to wrest control of it from the corporatists, globalists and special interests.

Speaking at last month’s National Conservatism Conference, Rachel Bovard of the Conservative Partnership Institute, couldn’t have said it better:

“Our movement is America’s slow kindled corrective to the Washington Republican establishment’s willful neglect. We are America’s answer to the hollow men who betrayed our workers into corporate exploitation, our taxpayers into unsustainable debt, our sons and brothers, into unwinnable wars and our citizens into unconstitutional servitude”.

So, strap in, everyone! We’re in for a wild ride between now and November 5th and likely for the next several years.

Onwards,
